The NETP programme offers a minimum of 12 designated study days.  RN graduates are required to undertake one 30 credit paper delivered by University of Auckland. It is envisaged that this will contribute to completion of a post graduate certificate. This paper and NETP study days are clinically focused.

The NESP programme offers 16 designated study days. RN graduates are required to undertake a post graduate certificate (two 30 credit papers) in Health Science (Mental Health Nursing) delivered by University of Auckland. This is a master's level certificate consisting of two clinically focused papers. RN graduates are also required to participate in professional supervision for at least 20 hours over the 12 month period.
